During the month of March, they will be travelling the length of the country, from Lands End to John O'Groats in a virtual 874 mile challenge.
Walking, running, or even crawling when they get a bit tired, this super talented team are in it together - and need your support! Every pound donated will go a long way to supporting the critical work that the Samaritans deliver every day.

My brother has volunteered with the charity since 2010, providing a 24/7 helpline for people who are upset, troubled or who are feeling suicidal. The pandemic has definitely increased the number of calls they’ve taken about loneliness initially around the fear of the virus, but now around the profound effect it has had on callers. The people who run the branch and treasurer do those roles on top of their listening duties. Each branch is it’s own separate charity under the Samaritans umbrell.
