Meet the Consultancy Team
The gbp Consultancy Team is diverse and expanding. Working with clients across the UK, they hold a wide range of skills and experience covering:
primary, community and wellbeing health and care services
acute, mental health community and inpatient services
local authority leisure, library and education services
Sam worked in the NHS for 22 years before joining gbpartnerships in 2015. She has advanced skills and experience in change management; service improvement and redesign; NHS capital projects; project and programme management and stakeholder engagement.
Johnathan is a principal Architect who has worked closely with healthcare providers for over 30 years. He believes passionately in the power of the physical environment to support integrated service delivery and to promote health and wellness for both service users and service providers. He is interested in promoting service-led design through direct engagement with service providers and users.
Senior Consultant (Finance)
Kerry is a Chartered Accountant with 20+ years of finance experience in professional practice, with her previous role being a Corporate Finance Director in a top 10 Accountancy firm.
North and Central
Becky leads the North, Central England and Wales consultancy team. Becky joined gbpartnerships from the national NHS Strategic Estate Planning team and has over 15 years’ experience within the public sector, driving change and transformational projects, enabling local systems and communities to reap the benefits.
Hannah has a vast knowledge of building management, is proactive and self- motivated. She has excellent communication and organisational skills and supports the team by delivering project management, data collation and analysis, production of visual documents and general administration.
For the past four years, Su has provided support to NHS clients around the country on a range of projects including estate feasibility and option appraisals, locality estate plans and utilisation projects. Su is the Utilisation lead within the consultancy team having delivered over 45 utilisation projects in the North West, Midlands, South West and London.
London, South East & South West
Ian leads the London & South-East consultancy team. He has over 15 years of estates and healthcare construction experience, both in the public and private sector. Ian has a wealth of expertise in working with multidisciplinary teams achieving their key strategic and transformation projects. Ian is currently supporting our partners to deliver Estates and Technology Transformation Fund (ETTF) projects, and maximise s106 and CIL funding.
Susan is a very experienced Healthcare Planner with 20 years’ experience of managing and supporting health planning projects. Susan’s expertise lies in the provision of healthcare planning technical analysis, including data manipulation/interpretation and capacity modelling.
With 30 years senior management experience in the NHS, Kate works with a wide range of stakeholders, enabling organisations to achieve their strategic objectives and deliver change. She is a PRINCE 2 practitioner and has extensive experience in the management and development of NHS estate, working in complex environments and supporting organisations to design and implement their strategic objectives by translating this into real improvements.
Sophie has nearly 10 years NHS experience, having previously worked for a large NHS Acute Trust. She is an expert Healthcare Planner and has PRINCE 2 Project Management knowledge. Sophie has worked across a wide range of projects such as OBC/FBC’s, STP locality planning, feasibility studies, options appraisals, estate strategies and utilisation studies. She currently works within a London CCG as their embedded estates lead and has developed a vital understanding from a commissioner’s perspective.
Henry recently joined the gbpartnerships Consultancy Team, bringing with a number of years of public sector transformation experience helping to improve outcomes for people, manage demand and change the way services are delivered.
Henry has a wealth of experience working across wide ranging projects and engaging with health and social care stakeholders.
