We have donated £2000 to the following project based in Dudley and has the capacity to reach and help large numbers of vulnerable individuals and therefore their impact within a community is far reaching.
Dudley Counselling Service - The counselling centre gives free support to vulnerable people in the community by providing them with the tools to make decisions that will help them, their families, friends and others. Adults and children are helped through a personalised and sympathetic counselling service.
Homeless/vulnerable people and substance users are helped providing meals, clothes, advocacy and advice. The Centre has been building new premises and has been awarded a grant towards the cost of flooring for their new counselling rooms and large community room which will be used for serving meals to homeless people.
The new centre is due to open at the beginning of January 2020. Our grant will help with the completion of the premises and the setting up of the service.
We are very much looking forward to visiting the project once it opens in January.
