Case Study:
Forrest Medical Centre

This £1.75m project combines two GP surgeries into a two storey,
750m2 building, providing improved access to primary care and
a wider range of services. The centre was developed through
agreement directly with the GP’s enabling them to co-locate on
one site providing services more efficiently. 

Project affordability for the NHS relied on the delivery of the
scheme at a low capped rate. Given the small size of the building,
his resulted in considerable design and value engineering to
optimise capex, further efficiency was required in the funding
solution, utilising long-dated fixed rate funding with an assumed
residual value. We secured the funding, demonstrated best value
nd delivered the project on time and within the affordability envelope.
