The North East Essex CCG and NHS Property Services commissioned Kate Halliday and team at gbpartnerships between January and June 2019, to undertake a health planning exercise on a coastal Community Hospital. During that time they quickly grasped the challenge to review the schedule of accommodation (SoA) and understand the current and future requirements of the multiple health service providers on site, alongside the complexities and nuances of the estate, the project objectives and regional demographic profile. The team delivered a functional SoA and site development options that reflected foresight and opportunities for improved arrangement of services for patient flows and development of a Community Health & Well-being Hub for local people. Kate et al established a good rapport with the project stakeholders and demonstrated a high level of expertise and professionalism in producing their comprehensive report which is being used as a platform the development of this Community Hospital facility.
Jane Chapman - Estates Programme Manager
NHS North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group
"As part of the Liverpool City Region One Public Estate (OPE) programme, Sam and her team at GB Partnerships were commissioned to undertake a public sector asset review across the Liverpool and Sefton local authority areas. This was a major undertaking and the team acted speedily and professionally from the outset, tenaciously engaging with a wide range of public sector stakeholders to source the information required to inform the review (estate strategies, asset lists, service delivery models etc). They then analysed this information, appraised and prioritised options, undertook further consultation, facilitated workshops and presented to the OPE Board before producing the final report. The information in the report is now an invaluable tool in assessing opportunities for public sector estates and service collaboration/co-location across Liverpool City Region. Many of the opportunities identified are now being taken forward as real world projects delivering significant benefits to the people of Liverpool and Sefton.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend GB Partnerships for this kind of work and indeed we are hoping to use them again to roll out the work they did across the rest of Liverpool City Region in the near future."
