Infrastructure planning

Effective infrastructure planning has never been so important, as health and local systems respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and delivers the vaccination programme. It is also fundamental as we transition into local Integrated Care Systems (ICS).

Our systematic approach to infrastructure planning enables us to better understand our clients' infrastructure baseline and define their needs. We are then able to develop a clear roadmap for investment to maintain and renew infrastructure in order to respond to changes in the environment and in care. Integrated community hubs

Community Hubs are large buildings, typically between 7,000 – 12,000 sqm. They bring together a wide range of services that together deliver health and wellbeing to the community: healthcare, social care, leisure, library, community groups, voluntary sector.

 

This multi-provider aspect alone brings a complexity of people movement within the building, with people accessing a wide range of different services.

If there is the opportunity to provide a new build solution in your locality, especially at scale, then it is essential to look at ways to build in resilience from the outset of the project.
