Our Partnerships

Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT)

Established in 2001, the LIFT programme has brought about the largest and most concentrated investment by the NHS and the private sector in the primary healthcare and community estate across England.

gbpartnerships deliver property management and partnering services to 14 LIFT Companies (Public Private Partnerships), managing a property portfolio worth over £850m.

Hub West Scotland

The hub West Project Co's are jointly owned by the public and private sectors and are responsible for providing  Designed, Built, Funded and Maintained facilities (DBFM) for the duration of each concession. gbppartnerships provide management services to each of the Hub West Project Co’s .

The Scotland-wide hub Programme is based on a partnership between the public and private sectors to deliver new community facilities. The hub Programme operates across Scotland in five territories, where public bodies (local authorities, NHS Boards, blue light services etc) in each of those areas have come together and appointed a private sector development partner to form a joint venture company, known as a hub Company or hubCo to deliver those new community facilities.

SDHIP: Strategic Estates Partnership

SDH Innovations Partnership (SDHIP) is currently developing new health and wellbeing centres in both Dartmouth and Teignmouth through a joint venture established between Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust and gbpartnerships Ltd (gbp), via gbp’s wholly owned subsidiary, Health Innovation Partners (HIP).

SDHIP, is also supporting the Trust on a number of other projects – all aimed at improving health services in the area with a right sized, fit for purpose estate.

NHS Strategic Estates Partnership (SEP) PPP model can be effectively utilised to improve health and care services and value for money for the NHS.

The Partnership’s objectives, enshrined contractually in the Partnering Agreement, are to enable the Trust and its health and care partners to:

  • Access the advice, skills, expertise and capability to optimise its estate, this may include design development, planning, procurement of services, managing projects, acquisitions/disposals, redeveloping parts of the estate.

  • Access advice on enhancing estate proposals and joint development opportunities including changes to the estate to provide enhanced capital receipts and/or income generation.
