National Tree Week is the UK’s largest annual tree celebration. Each year, the country’s conservation sector, volunteer groups and tree-lovers come together to plant thousands of trees to mark the start of the tree planting season, and this year, gbpartnerships has joined the celebration with 420 trees gifted to the Beaudesert Outdoor Activity Centre in Staffordshire.
Whilst Storm Ciarán hampered gbp's senior management team's plans to prepare the ground for planting, the team have committed to visiting in the spring to carry out some further work at the activity centre.
The Activity Centre is located on the edge of Cannock Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and offers a truly unique experience for schools and youth groups. 120 acres of mixed woodland and parkland offer fantastic opportunities to learn and experience the outdoors.
