The members of The LIFT Council have elected Elaine Siew as the first Vice-Chair and Treasurer of the umbrella body of independent partners in the NHS LIFT programme.
Elaine brings decades of experience within the LIFT community as independent sector director on several LIFTCo Boards and a strategic estates partner for the NHS, including in her role as CEO of gbpartnerships group, a company providing a range of development, investment and property services, end to end from strategic planning to asset management.
Under Elaine’s leadership, gbps’ partnering approach has delivered more than £300m worth of new healthcare facilities and currently manages 85 LIFT buildings across 14 LIFTCos in the country. gbp also delivers a range of consultancy services and partnering services including strategic estates planning, development and project management, asset and estates management, through the LIFT framework working with NHS partners nationally.
Her role as Vice-Chair will see Elaine work alongside the Chair as the senior representatives of The LIFT Council.
Commenting on Elaine’s election as Vice-Chair and Treasurer, Sarah Beaumont-Smith, Chair of the LIFT Council said:
