Fareham Community Hospital joins the Queens Green Canopy project
On the 28th October, three fruit trees (apple, plum and pear) were planted to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee as part of the Queens Green Canopy project and funded by Solent Estates Partnership.
The Mayoress of Fareham, Anne Ford, kindly joined gbp’s Estates Manager, Rachael Samain, to formally open this area of the rear gardens where a wildflower area had recently been planted to encourage biodiversity to the site.
Staff and patients are really looking forward to seeing how this area develops across the coming seasons.
