gbp’s 12 days of Christmas Giving...
This Christmas the gbp foundation is making donations to 12 good causes and charities that are close to the hearts of our staff.
On the 10th day of gbp’s 12 days of Christmas giving, a donation of £200 is on its way to Kings Heath Action for Refugees, a charity who are trying to help refugees and asylum seekers living in the midlands.
gbp’s Head of Finance, Jenny Saddler, nominated the cause for donation as it provides invaluable support for the local community. Action for Refugees is a network of local community groups who are committed to supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
Kings Heath Action for Refugees are a not-for-profit charitable organisation who work with individuals, groups and schools to help refugees. The charity delivers a range of community fundraising events to promote awareness, along with offering support and solidarity for refugees and asylum seekers living in Birmingham and the Black Country and those seeking safe passage across Europe.
We hope that the donation makes a difference to those in need at this time of year.
