As gbpartnerships (gbp) enters the new financial year and proudly marks its 25th anniversary, the organisation is pleased to announce several significant changes within its executive leadership team, effective 1 April. These developments reflect gbp group’s continued commitment to strengthening its leadership and positioning the group for sustained growth in its next chapter.
Paul Ferry transitions to Non‑Executive Director
After serving as Executive Chair since 2013, Paul Ferry will step down from the position to become a Non‑Executive Director. During Paul’s tenure as Executive Chair, gbp group has undergone a period of substantial growth, diversification and development. In his new role, Paul will continue to provide valued strategic insight and guidance as the organisation moves into its next phase.
Paul says: “gbp has been on a tremendous growth journey and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved. I’m really excited for the future of the business and look forward to supporting James and Elaine as they take it forward.”
Elaine Siew appointed Executive Chair
gbp group’s current Chief Executive Officer, Elaine Siew, will transition into the role of Executive Chair, succeeding Paul. Elaine has led gbp since its inception and has been instrumental in building the organisation into the thriving, purpose‑driven group it is today. Her leadership, vision and commitment remain central to gbp’s future direction.
Elaine commented: “Leading gbpartnerships to where it stands today has been the greatest privilege of my career. I’ve had the joy of working with exceptional colleagues who care deeply about doing the right thing for our clients, partners and the communities we serve. As I now step into the role of Executive Chair, my commitment to the company remains as strong as ever. I’m excited to support our new CEO and the team as we continue to grow, evolve and make a positive impact together. This next chapter feels full of possibility, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we collectively achieve next.”
James Lloyd appointed Chief Executive Officer
gbp is also pleased to announce that James Lloyd, who has served as Deputy CEO for the past two years, will become the group’s new Chief Executive Officer. James joined gbp in 2013 and has played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s commercial, operational and strategic direction. His deep understanding of gbp’s purpose, coupled with his strong leadership capabilities, make him ideally placed to guide the organisation into its next 25 years.
James said: “I am absolutely thrilled to take on this new role and challenge. I’m deeply passionate about this business – its people, its purpose and the clients we support. To be granted this responsibility in our 25th anniversary year is a real honour. I am incredibly grateful and privileged to lead at a time when the Group is in such a strong position, and I’m excited about the opportunity to build on this momentum and continue growing and evolving the business.”
