With gbpartnerships group head office in Birmingham, a focus on sustainability in the West Midlands region is a key priority for the UK-wide property consultancy, development and asset management company.
Paul Ferry, gbpartnerships group Executive Chair commented:
“I am delighted that we will be working with Sustainability West Midlands to support this extremely important agenda and the region’s aim of becoming a leader in contributing to the national target of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Alongside this regional focus, gbpartnerships are working to support a sustainable future through responsible business activities across the UK in all areas of our work; planning, developing, and maintaining the highest quality, sustainable health and public buildings.”
Together with its members, Sustainability West Midlands have established a Sustainability Roadmap to 2030 which set targets as a means to monitor and report on the change happening across the region.
Their aim is to build on these targets and make more ambitious goals for the region, ensuring stakeholders can innovate, collaborate, share good practice and celebrate success so that these targets can be met – and gbpartnerships are thrilled to join them on this journey!
