HSJ Partnership Awards, Environmentally Sustainable Project of the Year is Highly Commended
gbpartnerships, Cheshire and Merseyside HCP and Cheshire East Council receives high commendation in the Environmentally Sustainable Project of the Year category at the 2022 HSJ Partnership Awards.
On 24 March 2022, in a private awards ceremony held at Park Plaza, Westminster, gbpartnerships, Cheshire and Merseyside HCP and Cheshire East Council received a high commendation for the Environmentally Sustainable Project of the Year at this year’s HSJ Partnership Awards. The accolade recognises their ongoing innovative and collaborative partnerships with the NHS and commitment to healthcare.
Following a rigorous judging process, involving a wide pane; of judges from across the healthcare sector, gbpartnerships, Cheshire and Merseyside HCP and Cheshire East Council project had been chosen as a finalist in the Environmentally Sustainable Project of the Year, followed by this special recognition.
The awards ceremony was attended by leaders and professionals from both the NHS and private sector as well as figures from non-clinical backgrounds, Hosted by celebrity guest Tom Allen, the evening was a true celebration of the achievements and collaborative partnerships in healthcare across a total of 18 categories.
The project, entitled, Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership’s Collaborative Approach to Sustainability is a unique and dynamic collaboration between Cheshire and Merseyside HCP, Cheshire East Council and gbpartnerships, to change system behaviours and ensure the long term sustainability of local public services through embedding the principles of sustainability and social value - people and planet in harmony - across the Partnership.
Dave West, Health Service Journal’s Deputy Editor congratulated the team on their successful win:
