Mossley Hill Mental Health Facility reached practical completion at the end of August 2025.
The magnificent new building, our biggest development project to date, is the third mental health facility we have successfully delivered on behalf of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. After over a decade of planning and subsequent construction works, final preparations are now being made for the new building to open its doors.
Located on the 100-year-old Mossley Hill Hospital site, the new 80-bed facility will significantly elevate the quality of mental health care offered to Mersey residents by offering sensitively designed facilities to better assist treatment and recovery. gbp has provided project management services for this development, delivered through the Liverpool & Sefton Health Partnership (LSHP) LIFTco.
