gbpartnerships are pleased to confirm that a new principal contractor has been appointed to take forward the build of the new Stourport Medical Centre. Midlands based contactor Key Construction, will start work on site on the 1st November 2021. The £7m Medical Centre is now due to be complete in late Spring 2022.
Key Construction, an experienced contractor with a strong track record in the health sector, take over from Arthur M. Griffiths & Son Ltd who went into administration in August.
The gbpartnerships team would like to thank Wyre Forest Health Partnership for their understanding and patience, and the CCG for their constructive and swift decision making. Developer, gbpartnerships’ skilled and experienced Development Team are overseeing the build through to commissioning.
The redevelopment of the primary care estate in Stourport is vital in ensuring the future of primary care for the locality. The project has faced a number of hurdles along the way, including the build phase of the contract being undertaken throughout the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown.
