Good luck to the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHS GGC) Property and Capital Planning team who are walking the Kiltwalk in Glasgow on Sunday 28 April to raise funds for Maggie's Centres.
The Kiltwalk is a 23 mile fundraising challenge, starting from Glasgow’s iconic Glasgow Green and finishing in the idyllic surroundings of Balloch, Loch Lomond.
Maggie’s Glasgow provide a lifeline to people with cancer and their families. They offer support when it is most needed and provide a wide range of services which include providing information, counselling and clinical psychologist services along with a range of classes, for example, how to cope with cancer treatment, stress management and relaxation all of which make a significant contribution to the well-being of people who ask for help. They are funded through charitable donations and are based on the Gartnavel Hospital site.
