Sustainability West Midlands: Award Finalists!
We are thrilled to announce that Coventry based LIFT Company, Arden Estate Partnerships has been named as finalists in the Sustainability West Midlands, Sustainability Roadmap to 2030 Awards, ‘Social Equity & Health’ category.
Arden Estate Partnerships is a long-term public private partnership between Community Health Partnerships and gbconsortium2, made up of Equitix and gbpartnerships, set up by Government in 2004 to address inequalities in health and social care estate throughout Coventry.
Since it was established, Arden Estate Partnerships has invested over £34m in five mixed-use health and wellbeing centres across Coventry, facilitating much better access to a greater range of services, often in areas where a significant number of residents suffer from socio-economic disadvantage including poor health and wellbeing.
Most recently, Arden Estate Partnerships provided development management services for the award winning Foleshill Health Centre which opened to patients in August 2021. Foleshill Health Centre is the UK’s first Passivhaus certified health care building. This £3.3m investment in primary care estate by the local NHS and CHP in inner-city Coventry provides a high-quality home to local GP services, serving up to 10,000 patients in an area of Coventry with high health needs. The award winners will be announced during Sustainability West Midlands 20th Birthday Celebration held on 10 March at Millennium Point, Birmingham.
