On the 10th day of gbpartnerships’ 15 days of Christmas giving, a donation has been made to the 3rd Hindley Explorer Scouts. Nominated by Gary Naylor - gbp manage, Managing Director - and Explorer Scout Leader, the £250 donation will support the Scouts with their day to day costs for activities and maintenance.
Gary has been a Scout Leader for around 48 years - a role that is undertaken on a voluntary basis, with many hours, days and months, of dedicated service during that time. Gary commented in his nomination:
"The 3rd Hindley Explorer Scouts is a local Scout Group with four sections (Beavers / Cubs / Scouts / Explorer Scouts). They offer a full range of Scouting activities for local young people aged 6-18 years, supported by a voluntary group of leaders. Any form of funding would be gratefully received as the Group is reliant on subs from the young people and fund raising to support its activities and maintain its Scout HQ / equipment etc."
