SDH Innovations Partnership LLP (SDHIP) is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2022 Health Investor Awards, Private/Public Partnership of the Year. SDHIP is a 50:50 Joint Venture Partnership between Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust and gbpartnerships (gbp), via gbp’s wholly owned subsidiary, Health Innovation Partners (HIP). It is a leading example of how the NHS Strategic Estates Partnership (SEP) PPP model can be effectively utilised to improve health and care services and value for money for the NHS. In 2021 SDHIP truly began to fulfil the Partnership’s ‘Vision’: “delivering value for money as an integral part of the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust’s Team”, supporting the Trust in leading the development of new community buildings on behalf of the local health and care system and with its own estate strategy.
The breadth of NHS property experience and resources available within gbp have enhanced the capabilities of SDHIP and, therefore, the Partnership. This has been proven through advisory, developmental and capital projects which are adding real value to the CCG, GPs and the NHS Trust – enhancing the local health estate provision at lower cost to the NHS.

The Health Investor Awards promote excellence and recognise innovation in the independent healthcare sector. The awards evening will be held on 8 June 2022 in London.
