Manchester City Council Children’s Services, who provide shelter for the most deprived families in Greater Manchester, recently received a donation of children’s books, colouring pens and pencils from the gbpFoundation.
Steve Thorley, gbpartnerships Senior Project Manager who helped make the donation happen, said:
"This relatively small donation has made the world of difference to families across Manchester who have nothing at all, at a time when life has been made even more difficult for them by the pandemic.” This is the second donation made by the gbpFoundation to the Children’s Services team, with around 80 Christmas presents and sweets being gifted last year.
