gbp foundation donation to SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health)

Last year gbp extended its operations into Scotland, proudly delivering management services to each of the hub West Scotland Project Cos and their diverse portfolio of 12 buildings. This portfolio includes 8 healthcare centres - all with mental health clinics - and two with inpatient mental health facilities.

With mental health services holding significant importance within gbp’s Scottish portfolio, Francesca Kavanagh, Head of Management Services for the hub West Scotland Project Co’s, has been seeking opportunities to forge partnerships with charities in this area.

In line with our commitment to giving back in the communities in which we work, we are pleased to announce that the gbp foundation has made a £1,000 donation to SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health). Moreover, Francesca is in the early stages of discussions to collaborate with SAMH on pro bono support and volunteering initiatives. We envision our Scottish team, led by Francesca and supported by Heather and Wendy, along with our gbp colleagues nationwide, joining hands to make a meaningful impact across Scotland.

SAMH has been Scotland’s mental health since 1923 and operate over 70 services in communities across Scotland. They provide mental health social care support, addictions, and employment services, amongst others. Together with national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention, and physical activity and sport, these services inform SAMH’s policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.

Stay tuned for updates on this exciting journey as we continue to prioritize social responsibility and community engagement in all our endeavours. Together, we can make a difference!
