gbpfoundation celebrates its first year of funding good causes
As the gbpfoundation celebrates its first year of funding good causes, we look back on the charities and community groups that have received a slice of the £25,000+ of funding that has been allocated to date.

The gbpfoundation was formally launched on 1st August 2019 as a long-term sustainable channel of funding, providing financial support for great causes that are important to the communities in which gbpartnerships work. The foundation focuses across three key themes: Education, Health and The Arts and is already an integrated part of what we do at gbpartnerships.
Good causes receiving funding this year include:
· Heart of England Community Foundation, Coronavirus Resilience Fund
· Charity donation for children at Broadford Primary School
· Volunteering within the National Park
· 300 new books delivered to a school in Coventry
· Holbrooks Community Association
· Coventry Boys and Girls Club
· Access to Heritage Art and Culture CIC
· 250 gifts distributed between our two beneficiaries at Christmas
· Sillhill Saints FC, under 13’s football team
Wendy Spencer, gbfoundation Director commented:
“We look forward to another year of working together with the Heart of England Community Foundation who guide us in the careful distribution of our funds. Supporting the promotion of good physical and mental health for all ages, improving wellbeing and aspirations through learning opportunities and providing opportunities to develop sustainable and supportive communities through environmental, social and diverse activities. I’m also excited about the establishment of a similar foundation for our LIFT company; Liverpool and Sefton Health Partnership (LSHP) with more to come on-board in the future.”
